The studio is situated in the Cape Winelands District just outside the beautiful town of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. The region is not only well known for some of the best wines produced in South Africa but also rich in art and culture.

A lot of small studios from bronze casting / painting / glass blowing and pottery are found in close proximity to one another, nestled among the many vineyards.

The Ceramic JCS studio is situated at the Delvera Estate on Route 44 in the Cape Winelands District, just outside the beautiful town of Stellenbosch.

Different courses are offered at the studio, ranging from beginners to more advanced pottery, wheelwork and hand building techniques. While some courses focus more on construction methods, others concentrate on decoration and firing techniques. We welcome anyone who would like to experience the joy and therapeutic value that the clay has to offer.
